    What a fun idea!

I am a work at home mom because I don't want someone else raising my kids. I am always here for them--even when they don't want me to be.

I also have health issues that make a job outside the home very difficult. I am so thankful for my work at home job.

I also love what I do! That makes my choice to work from home even easier.

I work from home because it allows me to raise our three kids and be there whenever my kids or my husband need me. I love the freedom to work when I can and not have to stress about what the kids are doing (well, as much anyway!). I also love being the one that gets to enjoy all the little and big moments in their lives.

Oh, and I also LOVE working from home.

I work from home for many reasons. Most importantly for my kids, I want to be here for them unlike my mother was able to do, being a single mom, working day and night just to barely get by.
I also work from home because I want to make sure my future is secure. To heck depending on someone else to determine when & how I work, or how much money I can make.
I'm also a bit hard-headed and maybe even a little selfish, because I don't want anyone to tell me when I have to do something. I want the freedom to do whatever it is I choose, when & how I want. (I guess that was one of my biggest problems when I did work at a J.O.B. many, many years ago.)
To sum it all up, I work from home because of the flexibility, security and peace of mind that comes from being my own boss.

Being here before and after school is a major thing for me too. I'm the only one out both of my boy's classes who works from home.

I know they don't understand now, but they will sure appreciate that when they get older I think!

I want to work from home. I have know babies to claim as the reason, I just want to put my focus where my heart is... writing and writing my blog. It's all new to me but I have found, in spite of the fact that I'm making no money, I love it but am constantly hampered by having to go to work! But, I guess we do have to pay the darn bills somehow. Sigh. The potential for me to have to work at home some day is very real and I would rather have crossed that bridge, if it does happen, than to have to deal with it at that time. Long story that I hope will remain latent for a long time... like for good! I like pink... just not pink clothes. I guess I'm just not that girly.

I work from home because it has been my dream for nearly ten years now, to own and operate a successful home based business.

I was raised by a stay at home mother and once I began having children 14 years ago I knew that they deserved the same - a mom who was there for them when they needed her. At the same time the world calls to me, the need to work, the need to contribute to our family financially.

When I was blessed 4 years ago with a special needs child (my second special needs child but whose needs are more extreme) my dream to be a successful WAHM became a necessity.

Being a WAHM meets so many personal needs and compliments my personality, it meets the needs of my children, as well as our family finances. It is fulfilling in so many areas I wonder why all mothers don't do exactly the same thing we are.

I love being a WAHM. I chose this as a way to make some money and still be the mom I always wanted to have when I was a child. I'm here for my children anytime they need me and they are my top priorities.

Even with my older girls in school, I am happy to know that if anything comes up at school I am able to drop everything and head straight there. No worrying about leaving work early or dealing with an angry boss. Only rushing to my child's side when they need me.

Being at home for my girls is the best thing ever. I couldn't imagine having to worry about finding a sitter when they are sick or having to push them off to preschool at the age of 3 or 4 because I need to be at a job. They need me and I'm here for them at all times.

Being a WAHM is the best thing ever!

Well as many others I wanted to be home for my children. I unfortuantely was caught in a situation where, my husband was injured in the miliatry and went blind from his accident. Right before 9-11 he was undergoing MANY surgeries. I HAD to work 3 jobs to help out and to promote myself FAST incase he got the boot IMMEDIATELY from the military. Well, 9-11 occurred, and the worst scenario happenned. I was stuck working on base and could not get my oldest son from school. And of course my husband was in the hospital and had just had another eye surgery. If you wanted to see some MP's(military police) grabbing a psycho lady off the fence to get off the base..well you should have been there that day. . this pretty much started my journey on the HUNT to look for legit comapnies to rep. for. A couple of years later I did find some and then quit, and started my own salon, and a mobile service. I have also made EVERY effort to continue with direct type selling to achieve the goals I need to offer this to my family when the time comes. Now..I am very busy, not rich YET..but busy..BUT HAPPY. I know this scenario will NEVER happen again!

I would like to work from home so I can stay home and raise my almost 4 month old little boy. I am a nurse and I would love to find something that uses my skills but still allows me to take care of my son. I feel it is very important to stay home with him until he goes to school. I went on bedrest with my little boy and had to stop working at 13 weeks. If we decide to have more children I am worried that I may have a difficult pregnancy once again. I want to find something that utilizeds my skills and contributes so my husband doesn't have to bear all the financial weight.

I have two children, a 1 year old daughter and 9 year old son. I USED to work nights and saw my son only on my days off. I am a single mom and one day when I picked my son from school on my day off, he asked me "Mommy, why don't you be a regular mom?" I asked him "What?" He said, "can you just stay home? I don't want toys or clothes anymore. I just want a regular mom." It broke my heart to hear him say that. I never realized that my job schedule was NOT good for him.

That made me start looking for a normal job, but I couldn't find one that pays what I was making at nights. Then I found a home based business that is now paying me almost what I am getting paid from my night jobs.

I love it, I get to pick up my son everyday from school. I get to take him to cub scouts, sport practices and get to watch both my children grow up!
