Spring has sprung and I'm in the mood to shop! 

I don't know what the deal is with me lately but I have had the need to shop like crazy.  Must be the fresh Spring air.

Anyhoo..I found the cutest website and again, thought you guys might enjoy looking around.  The Gift Monkey (how cute is that name?!) has so many cute things I don't even know where to begin.  

I was looking specifically for a frame to put my little guy's pic in for a Mother's Day gift for his grandma, and I found the most adorable pewter frame.  Then, I happened across the sweetest pens ever made!  Oh my gosh, I could go on and on and on....

I thought the prices were great too.  Sometimes online shopping sites can be pretty pricey, so I had to mention the prices.

I have a spring and summer schedule full of weddings, birthdays and events..so I'm definitely bookmarking this site.

Don't forget that Mother's Day is right around the corner...this is a great site to shop for mom!

I have an inspirational story for you all today.  I came across the website Hellerstudios.com and had to pass the story on to all of you.  This man's story is amazing...but his art is what takes center stage. 

Justin Heller, the artist, is actually colorblind.  I was absolutely blown away by his use of color in his pieces.  I fell in love with his style even before I read about his journey!  Not only do you feel a sense of calm when you first visit the site, but it's not hard to get lost in the art itself.

He has a really neat feature on his site that allows you to actually see his art the way he sees it.  It really puts into perspective the amount of talent this man actually has.

Mr. Heller is the perfect example of how everyone has their own trials and tribulations that we must overcome, but if you have the courage and drive, you can absolutely make all of your dreams come true.

This site is definitely worth checking out!

Talk About It Tuesday:  Daylight Savings Time

Anyone else having major issues trying to adjust to this darn time change?  I'm having one hell of a time trying to adjust to the change.  I can't sleep at night and then I don't want to wake up in the morning.  UGGH!

I found an interesting article that explains the reason why our bodies need time to adjust and gives some excellent pointers on how to recover from your sleeping dilema lickity split.
